Katchafire, Kora, and The Sunshine Sound System Midwinter Show

On Friday 5 August 2016, join Katchafire, Kora, and The Sunshine Sound System for their now annual midwinter show at The Powerstation.
 
The show welcomes home Katchafire, one of New Zealand’s hardest working and most consistently touring bands – fresh off the back of their US tour #burnitdown, where they played over 40 shows (including festivals alongside reggae and hip-hop heavyweights Damian Marley and Charli 2Na).
 
Widely regarded as one of NZ’s most electric live acts KORA will be taking a break from studio sessions where they have been working on new material due for release in 2016. From the studio to the stage, we’re hoping for a taste of the new tracks when Kora join Katchafire @ The Powerstation this August.
 
Sunshine Sound System are the last part of the equation, rounding off the party with their signature energy-packed performances, and their
ability to warm up the audience just right.
