Villainy Announce Nationwide Tour

Armed with a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most vital and relevant rock bands, Villainy are gearing up to hit the road again for a four-date nationwide tour, presented by The Rock.

Villainy (James Dylan, Neill Fraser, Dave Johnston and Thom Watts) have crushed everything in their wake since forming in 2010 – drawing critical acclaim, supporting AC/DC, notching up six #1 rock singles and winning ‘Best Rock Album’ at the 2013 NZ Music Awards.

The Kiwi four-piece will play shows at Churchills in Christchurch on Friday, October 7; The Cook in Dunedin on Saturday, October 8; Kings Arms in Auckland on Friday, October 14 and Bodega in Wellington on Saturday, October 22.

With two kick-ass albums (2012’s MODE. SET. CLEAR. and 2015’s DEAD SIGHT) and countless hits under their belt, Villainy is back doing damage on the airwaves with their new single ‘Nothing Ever Changes’, which is on The Rock playlist and currently #20 on the Rock Airplay Chart.

And, with a touring game that’s taken them across New Zealand and Australia, Villainy are a live force to be reckoned with.

This is honest, solid rock. And it’s really f***ing loud. So brace yourself – Villainy is on their way to a town near you, and they’re taking no prisoners.

They will be supported on the tour by Auckland alt-rock duo Skinny Hobos - who make far more noise than any two people should!

After recently supporting Shihad, Skinny Hobos have developed a reputation for their mesmerising and impressive live show. First single ‘The Merchant Of Tirau’ out now sets the scene for a rocking first album due out later this year.
