London Grammar Hits Auckland Arena this September

Make way for British pop trio London Grammar as they bring their much-anticipated show in Auckland this September.

The concert announcement marks the release of their critically-acclaimed sophomore album 'Truth Is A Beautiful Thing' with production credits of Paul Epworth, the multi-Grammy and Oscar-winning producer for the likes of Florence & The Machine and Adele.

The album also features production by Mercury-nominee Jon Hopkins (Brian Eno, King Creosote) on the sweeping lead single 'Big Picture', as well as colour and depth provided by the genius of the 32-piece City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, who play across the record. The band also worked with LA based Greg Kurstin (Sia, Beck) as well as Tim Bran and Roy Kerr.

Brit Award-nominated London Grammar first reached this side of the world back when they played a captivating live show in The Falls Music And Arts Festival 2013/14 as well as three sold-out sideshows.

In September 2013, London Grammar's debut LP 'If You Wait' hit the New Zealand album charts, peaking at no. 13 and staying on the charts for two months. The album went on to sell over two million copies worldwide and saw them awarded a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for the spectacular single, 'Strong'.

With growing fame, the band returned to Australia in 2015 to play sold out arena shows across the country, with the likes of The Music declaring, "with Reid’s vocals pushing the performance to new heights, elating every soul and leaving everyone hoping that it’s not as long between visits for London Grammar."

They visited Australia over the new year, again to perform on the Falls Festival stage; this time as a headliner. They celebrated the occasion by ensuring Aussie fans were the first in the world to hear brand-new material from the forthcoming album, when they debuted the heart-wrenching, 'Rooting For You'. After three visits to Australia, London Grammar finally crosses the Tasman to perform for their Kiwi fans for the first time, armed with the exquisite songs from their latest album.

Experience a laidback evening with London Grammar's stunning performance this September.
