Limp Bizkit to perform headline show in Christchurch next month

Following their 'Storm the Gates' ecstatic performance, '90s nu-metal favourites Limp Bizkit are all set to play their classics live for the first time at Christchurch's Horncastle Arena next month.

Update: American hip-hop group (Hed) P.E. will join the bill as they bring the energy and please the crowd with their unique mix of gangsta rap, punk and reggae, known as G-punk.

It's been 16 years since US rock-rap group Limp Bizkit played on Kiwi soil, however, they have never been to the South Island. Led by their iconic frontman Fred Durst, Limp Bizkit took the world by storm in the late '90s and early 2000s with albums such as 'Three Dollar Bill, Y'all$', 'Significant Other' and 'Chocolate Starfish and The Hot Dog Flavored Water'. The group will be playing alongside their special guests that are yet to be announced.

These iconic rockers have been nominated for three Grammy Awards including Best Hard Rock Performance ('Nookie'), Best Rock Album ('Significant Other') and Best Hard Rock Performance ('Take A Look Around'). In 1999, Limp Bizkit won the Maximum Vision Award at the Billboard Music Video Awards for their music video 'Nookie' and in the 7th Blockbuster Awards, they took the spot for winning the Favorite Group (Rock) award.

This is a rare opportunity for anyone south to witness one of the most recognisable bands of the era so don't miss out!
