Get ready to laugh yourselves silly as award-winning comedian and actor Catherine Tate tours New Zealand this November and December! The 'The Catherine Tate Show' tour is set to grace Takapuna's Bruce Mason Centre, Wellington's The Opera House, Palmerston North's Regent on Broadway, Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal and Auckland's Spark Arena.
In never before seen sketches, the British TV star will unite some of her best-known characters from her hugely successful BBC series 'The Catherine Tate Show', broadcast on TVNZ. In her long list of hilarious roles, the cast will include the supposedly foul-mouthed grandmum Joannie 'Nan' Taylor, Irish nurse Bernie, the frequent petitioner Geordie Georgie, Essex girl Sam and the return of a certain argumentative teenager, Lauren Cooper.
"I cannot wait to start this tour. Live shows are my favourite thing to do and we are going to have a blast in New Zealand. Exciting!" - Catherine Tate
"The Catherine Tate show. What a load of old s**t!" - Joannie 'Nan' Taylor, Catherine Tate Show
Catherine will be sharing the stage with her long-time collaborator Niky Wardley and Irish artist and filmmaker David O'Reilly in all her shows. Niky is also expected to play her all-too familiar role as Lisa Jackson (Lauren Cooper's best friend).
Don't miss on what'll be nights of amusing and entertaining stage gimmicks from comedy's one and only, Catherine Tate!
