Three years after his successful 'King Of Romance' tour, charismatic crooner Engelbert Humperdinck is set to return to New Zealand, bringing his critically-acclaimed 'The Man I Want To Be' tour next year. He'll be playing his intimate trio concerts happening at Auckland's Bruce Mason Centre, Christchurch's Isaac Royal Theatre and Wellington's Opera House.

After serenading his Kiwi fans, Engelbert will be heading to his Australian tour. He'll be singing to his Aussie fans at the Gold Coast's The Star, Sydney's State Theatre, Melbourne's Palais Theatre and Perth's Riverside Theatre.

In a career that spans five decades, Humperdinck is renowned for some of the biggest, most popular anthems in music, from 'Release Me' and 'Ten Guitars' to 'Last Waltz' and 'Quando, Quando, Quando'. His first single 'Release Me' went into the Guinness Book of Records for achieving 56 consecutive weeks on the charts whilst sitting steadily at the no. 1 spot in 11 countries.

Engelbert Humperdinck emerged into the music scene in the 60's and even until today, the legend still takes great pleasure in every moment on stage. Humperdinck's 'The Man I Want To Be Tour' takes its name from his latest album released last year, marking his 50th anniversary in music. The album, which is made up of original tracks and covers of contemporary songs including Ed Sheeran's 'Photograph' and Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are', has received rave reviews.
