New Zealand's biggest winter party, Mardi Gras, is back! Featuring a lineup of top-notch performers from all over the world, the festival will have an exciting two-day run this year—one at North Island's Ohakune Junction and another at Queenstown's Coronet Peak where it is extending the magic for the first time.
Leading the bill on both shows are UK's electronic duo Chase & Status, joined by D&B guru MC Rage. English drum 'n' bass extraordinaires Matrix & Futurebound along with Kiwi whizzkid Montell2099 will also join the stellar lineup. Other acclaimed artists like Mako Road, ShockOne, Chores, Sub-Human, and Avance are also up to share the centrestage. This two-day extravaganza promises to be the biggest winter party as more exciting acts still to be announced.
The Ohakune event will feature pop sensation and singer-songwriter Mitch James. His self-titled gold-certified debut album has dominated the charts and amassed more than 80 million streams on Spotify, since its release last year. The record contains four Gold certified singles, including current single 'Bright Blue Skies', 'Old News', 'All The Ways To Say Goodbye' and '21'. Apart from Mitch James' much-anticipated performance, the Ohakune show will also see the reunion of Concord Dawn (Matty C & Killjoy) with Brazilian hip hop artist MC Tiki.
Expect colourful and vibrant outfits, dancing in the streets and good times galore. Tickets are expected to be all snapped up so don't dare miss out!
