British new-wave ensemble, Squeeze, are hitting NZ stages with their latest 'The Songbook' tour in February next year. They'll be performing three headlining concerts at Auckland Town Hall - Great Hall, Christchurch's Isaac Theatre Royal and Wellington's The Opera House. After capping off their NZ shows, they'll be playing their Aussie dates, hitting Brisbane's The Tivoli Theatre, Melbourne's Athenaeum Theatre, Sydney's State Theatre, Adelaide's Dunstan Playhouse and Perth's Astor Theatre.
Squeeze are headed up by two legendary songwriters Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook—each amassing a collection of top-selling tracks both as Squeeze members and solo artists. Though the group entered the music scene in 1974, it was their 1978 groundbreaking hit 'Take Me I’m Yours' that shot them up to fame—captivating hearts from all over the world. Squeeze are known for their extensive list of new-wave anthems like 'Cool For Cats', 'Tempted', 'Up The Junction', 'Another Nail in My Heart', 'Sunday Street' and 'Labelled with Love'.
