Promo Codes can be created after your Eventfinda ticketed event is published. It is best to set the public on-sale date for the ticket type before publishing. We have also shown how to do this here on steps 4 and 5.
Log in to Eventfinda Promoter Portal with your account.
From the Dashboard, click on Events in the top left corner of the navigation menu.
Scroll to the event you wish to edit.
Click the Manage Ticketing button then click Tickets & Sessions.
Click Edit on the Ticket Type you want to set the on-sale.
Scroll down to ensure the general public on-sale date and time has been set and click Save Ticket Type.
(The presale promo code will override the public on-sale date)
Select Promo Codes from the menu below your event title.
Click Create Promo Code.
Select the Sessions and Ticket Types this promo code applies for.
Use Select All if it applies to all tickets and sessions.
- Enter your own Promo Code or use the one randomly generated by Eventfinda.
- Add Pre-sale to the Promo Code description.
- Add $0.00 to the discount (or add the discount amount if applicable).
- Add Max redemptions if you have a limit on how many codes can be used in total.
- Enter the date and time you would like the Pre-sale to start (this overrides the General Public On-sale date) and the date and time for the Pre-sale to end.
- Create Promo Code.
You can now share your Pre-sale Promo Code with an audience group via the link provided.
