Set up ticket questions

Need more information from your customers? Set up questions such as dietary requirements, ticket-holder names, company/organisation, referral, or your own custom questions.

Log in

Log in to Eventfinda Ticketing with your account.

Go to Events

From the Dashboard, click on Events in the top left corner.

Click Manage Ticketing

Scroll to the event you wish to add questions to, and click Manage Ticketing.

Go to Ticketing Questions

On the next screen, beneath Ticket Types, click the Ticketing Questions button.

Choose from our default questions

On the next screen, we have a range of default questions you can choose from.

Create your own question

Click on the New Question button if you'd like to create your own custom question.

Enter your custom question's details

Enter the details of your ticketing question. Enter a Label for your question (this is the first thing your customer will read when answering the question). This could be “T-shirt size”.

 

For your Question, you can elaborate in further detail, for example, “What t-shirt size would you like to select?”.

 

Select whether this question type requires a single line of text, drop down menu, checkbox etc. For multiple choice rather than freeform text answers, enter your choice of answers.

 

Set the advanced options
 

Tick the boxes to indicate if the question is required or can be skipped, if a customer should be asked per ticket rather than per order, whether answers should be indicated on tickets, and which ticket types this question applies to.

 

Click the Save button to continue.

Done!
Your question is now saved under Ticket Setup > Ticketing Questions.

 

You can include as many questions as your event requires.
