The Nelson Fringe Festival is the Top of South’s quirkiest and only fringe festival!
The 2017 festival runs from 29 April - 7 May. It is a nine-day celebration of fringy theatre awesomeness - with workshops taught during the day and performances by night.
The Nelson Fringe has a life of its own, and is growing before our very eyes. This year there will be 37 original shows (up from 23 in 2016) from international, national and local performers. In addition to that, the community can gorge itself on 13 varied workshops from industry professionals. Some workshops will be specifically geared towards performers and others towards anyone in the Nelson/Tasman community who wants to learn something new.
