Dylan Moran – Dr Cosmos Tour in Wellington Region
Critically-acclaimed deadpan comedy performer, Dylan Moran, is about to make his highly-anticipated NZ comeback this October. Featuring his latest comedy show 'Dr Cosmos', he is set to play six comical performances in Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Auckland and Hamilton.
After his NZ dates, he will head his way to Australia and wind up a massive run of hilarious shows happening in: Wollongong, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Launceston, Hobart, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Cairns, the Gold Coast, Newcastle and Brisbane.
"Trumping Shakespeare, he reduces life to four ages: "child, failure, old and dead". Faced with one-liners as killing as that the world suddenly seems a better place." - The Telegraph
Dylan Moran is a comedian, actor and writer who—in 1996 at the Edinburgh Fringe—became the youngest winner of the Perrier Award. He went on to co-write and star in the much-loved, offbeat comedy series 'Black Books' which won two BAFTA TV Awards.
Moran has been called the Oscar Wilde of comedy, and his famed style—deadpan, witty and crackpot lyricism—promises to be an unmissable journey through his interpretations of the world, swerving cliché to offer a cutting blow to our idiosyncrasies. Aside from his wits and funny one-liners, his incredible charm led him to earn notable screen roles in acclaimed movies like 'Notting Hill', 'Calvary', 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Run Fatboy Run'.
"In his heightened ideas and vocabulary, Moran compulsively swerves clichés as he builds up layers of laughs… funny and fascinating, and utterly deserving of his place in the modern classics." - The Times
Since breaking into the comedy scene, Moran has toured the world many times. Versions of his show has reached as far afield as Kazakhstan, Ukraine and across the US, with his 2015 'Off the Hook' tour taking 149 dates across the globe.
Laugh your hearts out with Dylan Moran's outrageously fun, comedic stunts live this October!
