Boy & Bear – Suck On Light Tour 2020: Postponed

Update: Due to recent announcements by the New Zealand Government, Boy & Bear's New Zealand tour is being rescheduled.

Australian indie-folk troupe Boy & Bear will be making their glorious return to New Zealand this April, in support of their latest album, 'Suck on Light'. The route will see them play three foot-stomping shows in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch.

Released last September, 'Suck on Light' was announced as Boy & Bear's fourth and most recent studio album. It features a string of acclaimed singles like 'Work of Art', 'Suck on Light', 'Bird of Paradise', 'Telescope' and 'Dry Eyes'.

Hailing from Sydney, Boy & Bear was founded in 2009 by frontman and lead guitarist Dave Hosking. Soon after their debut, they released their 2011 breakthrough album 'Moonfire' which peaked at No. 2 in Australia and earned them five ARIA Awards—cementing their place in the indie-folk scene. It includes a list of chart-topping classics like 'Feeding Line', 'Milk & Sticks', 'Part Time Believer', 'Lordy May' and 'My Only One'.

Within their spanning career, Boy & Bear had gone on to release two more award-winning records 'Harlequin Dream' (2013) and 'Limit Of Love' (2015)—both of which have debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
