On his shows in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, he will play songs from his seminal album 'White Ladder'—celebrating the 20th anniversary of its groundbreaking release. Written and recorded in Stoke Newington, 'White Ladder' sold seven million copies and spawned a string of classic hit singles like 'Babylon', 'Please Forgive Me', 'Sail Away', 'This Year's Love' and 'My Oh My'. It has remained in the top 30 best-selling British albums of all time, and has sold two times platinum in Australia, and three times platinum in New Zealand. The album is one of the 11 complex, ambitious and heartfelt albums David has recorded in a career that spans 25 years.
