Greg Johnson - 1000 Miles Tour in Auckland

Plus1 proudly announces award winning LA-based Kiwi singer-songwriter Greg Johnson will return home in March for a very special 10-date tour stretching from Kerikeri in the north to Dunedin in the south.
More than 30 years since Greg first made his mark on the New Zealand music scene with his breakthrough single Isabelle, his melodic, story-telling songs have continued to hit the radios, charts and hearts of listeners nationwide.
Music lovers can look forward to hearing his iconic songs like Don’t Wait Another Day, Liberty, Save Yourself, It's Been So Long, Now The Sun is Out, Looking Out On Monday, I Got Opinions and many more.
Greg has an enviable songbook to choose from - a collection of songs which has seen him recognised with two Tui NZ Music Awards, nine top 20 albums, and a very loyal fanbase.
Says Greg: “I’m really looking forward to heading back home for nationwide shows and that beautiful late summer sunshine. As the crow flies, it’s 1000 miles from our northern most concert in Keri Keri to our southern most in Dunedin, and so we’ll relish all the adventures in between, on our 1000 Miles tour.” Accompanying Greg on all dates is guitarist Ben King. Also joining the tour on select dates is Wayne Bell (drums) and Mark Hughes (bass).
Greg will perform songs from right across the 12 albums of his career, including new favourites from recently-recorded material in Los Angeles. The first single from the new recordings, Rooster Tail, is released in December.
