Based in downtown Oamaru, New Zealand, our lead programme, '45 South Tonight' airs a fresh programme Monday to Friday at 5pm. Rescreening at 8pm 10pm 2am 7am 10am 12 noon. Between these times we run a randomly selected loop of these programme segments.
Television Station. '45 South Television' broadcasts on uhf digital on channel 34, vertically polarised. The station operates as a 'community TV station' run entirely by volunteers and the studio is normally staffed between 10am to about 4pm Mon to Fri. Our facility consists of a ground floor reception, hospitality area, recording studio with green screen and guest interview area. There is a control room with mixing capability and an editing suite.
