The Alexandra Basin sub-region of Central Otago is home to 25 wine producers. Ranging in production size from just a few hundred cases to many thousands, our growing environment offers a concentration on Pinot Noir and aromatic varieties such as Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. Other grape varieties are grown here too however! These include Thyme Hill's single vineyard Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosa Muscat and others.
