Amesbury School Community Hall

The Community Hall at Amesbury School is approximately 20m x 20m, and is 5m high with a maximum occupancy capacity of 100 people. It is a modern, light and bright hall, perfect for a party or to run fitness, dance, drama or sports classes.

The hall is installed with a simple to use sound system, wireless microphone, ceiling mounted projector & giant screen. It has underfloor heating, a separate kitchen with 900mm oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and hot water zip. It is possible to hire the kitchen only for catering purposes.

We have chairs and tables available for up to 100 people included in the hire rate. It has a half size basketball court and hoop, and is also marked out for two badminton courts. We have badminton & volley ball nets - courts are available to hire by the hour during certain times. Please contact the school for information on hourly hire rates for these courts.

The hourly rate varies according to the length of the hire period;
Up to 2 hours: $40 + GST per hour (minimum of 1 hour hire)
2 hours plus to 4 hours: $35 + GST per hour
4 hours plus: $30 + GST per hour
Kitchen only hire: from $15 + GST per hour depending on length and frequency of hire (minimum of 1 hour hire).

All hirers are required to pay a $300.00 bond upon booking. Casual hirers must pay the hire fee prior to the booking.
