Annalee Sewing Studio

Annalee provides hands-on sewing classes in the heart of Wellington. Does your child have that creativebug, can you see them whipping up a World of Wearable Art costume one day? This is the programme to unleash their inner creative bug and build on their sewing and construction skills.

Anna is a World of Wearable Art finalist as well as having a qualification in Fashion design, now runs a dancewear company where she designs and makes custom stage costumes. Anna has had a love for all things craft and sewing forever and wishes to hand on the knowledge she has learnt to other upcoming designers and creators.

Annalee's classes are suitable for those who have never sewn before right through to those who have a few outfits behind them!

Our classes are small in number to ensure each child gets the attention they need. Our programmes will teach kids and teens to correctly use a sewing machine, understand a sewing pattern, learn to cut out a garment, following instructions and grainlines and finish with a complete wearable garment.
