Picnic and play under the tall pines and check out the sculpture which refers to the area's ceramic and clay history, then have a paddle at the little beach below.
Dogs are permitted off leash under the control of their owners on all Waitakere Parks and Reserves, except those adjoining beach and foreshore areas.
Dogs are prohibited from children's playgrounds and sports grounds at all times.
