Situated on 9 hectares at the end of Margaret Place, close to Gisborne Hospital and the Lytton Road shopping centre, the first stages of Beetham Village are established.
The hub of the village is Beetham Lodge - the community centre with facilities for more than 20 recreational activities. Villagers have the use of an indoor heated swimming pool and spa pool area, gymnasium, library, art and craft studio, workshop and much more.
Outdoors the communal recreation area with park-like landscaping and walking tracks also offers a bowling green, croquet area, putting green, petanque, childrens play area and barbeque amongst others. The village, located about 4.5kms from the city centre, has its own bus for group outings
and shopping excursions.
