Brightwater Motors has been with the community, in the same central location, since 1964.
Now under fresh management the new owners - Dave and Natalie Gilberd - are very excited to bring you the best possible customer care while ensuring you enjoy safe and reliable motoring.

Joining the team and bringing ten years experience with him is senior technician Ben Close.

A qualified aircraft mechanic, Dave moved to Lower Moutere from Wellington with his wife Natalie and their two young boys, Karsiah (5 years old) and Ethan (3 years old) in 2019. Dave brings over 20-odd years of mechanical expertise to Brightwater Motors, with Natalie’s background in Marketing and Engagement contributing to the very best in customer experience.

Ben Close is a highly qualified mechanic who has worked on a large variety of vehicles both in New Zealand and the UK. Previously based in Queenstown, Ben moved to the Nelson Tasman region in 2020 to take up his position at Brightwater Motors.
