The Canterbury Indoor Bowls Association is one this country's largest centres with over 800 affiliated members from 36 clubs. The Association is made up of 6 Common Interest Groups (CIGs) - Catholics, Chartered Clubs, Ellesmere, Malvern, Metro and North Canterbury. All of these CIGs are run under their own rules and regulations and have their own individual Executive committees.
