Edible Backyard is a series of workshops run from Kath Irvine’s permaculture home garden.
Created to support you on your journey to becoming a food gardener, Kath will teach you how to design and run your own Edible Backyard.
A unique opportunity for hands on, organic learning from a working permaculture garden.
Find your edible gardening inspiration at Edible Backyard! Get a group together and I'll take you for a guided tour of my permaculture inspired, organic food gardens. We'll wander through the potager, the vegie beds, the chooks, the subtropicals, the orchard, the pigs and greenhouse. I'll talk about how these areas all work in together and the special plants and animals that support my system to work.
A tour takes about one and a half hours.
For an extra $5 per head you can enjoy homemade refreshments before / after your tour.
Minimum number is 10. Maximum number is 20.
