Ferrymead Heritage Park features an Edwardian township complete with church, school house, bakery, jail, print workshop, Edwardian cottages, railway station and playground.

There are a fascinating array of museum and heritage collections some of which are the largest in the southern hemisphere for young and old including; model railway, aeronautical, fire engines, trains, rural implements and tractors.

- Trams run on weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
- A steam train runs on the second Sunday of each month (with trains running most Sundays over the Christmas/January period).
Unlimited tram and train rides are an additional cost to the purchase price.

Ferrymead Park also hosts many events during the year including the monthly gold coin night market. Most events include societies and displays open, train and trams running, food and craft vendors, entertainment, attractions and children's activities.

Our heritage buildings and grounds are the perfect place for weddings, birthdays, birthday tram packages, work and special functions.
