The National Equestrian Centre facility caters for all manner of equestrian sport competition and training including but not limited to: three-day eventing, show jumping, dressage, mounted games, polo-x, carriage riding as well as para-equestrian.
Over the years the facility has been developed to now include all weather arenas, stabling, the Charisma Hall and amenities, cross country courses, riding trails etc.
The development of these facilities has been funded over the years through volunteer labour, rider levies and charges, camping fees, competitions, sponsorship and grants obtained from Trusts such as the Lion Foundation.
The NEC’s focus is:
• To provide a premier event and training facility
• To operate a financially sustainable facility
The NEC mission statement is:
To be Australasia’s “destination of choice” for all those involved in equestrian sports.
