Theatre Whakatane Incorporated operates out of two performance venues, Gateway Theatre and Whakatane Little Theatre. Gateway Theatre, is a boutique black box performance venue. Suitable for up to 150 patrons seated at tables, or 80 patrons for dinner shows, the recently developed venue is fully air conditioned to provide a warm and comfortable performance environment all year round.
