Glenfalloch Woodland Garden, Gaelic for 'hidden valley' is a historical garden that is an ideal setting for your wedding, function or conference.

Situated in peaceful, relaxing surroundings you can enjoy panoramic harbour views. Stroll among the rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, fuchsias and a profusion of other flower species which integrate with native ferns, exotic imports and indigenous New Zealand trees to showcase 120 years of conservation and expansion of our botanical heritage.

Glenfalloch has been classified as a Garden of National Significance:
“The assessors were unanimous that this historic garden had regained its former status as one of the leading gardens in New Zealand and is now a Garden of National Significance”

The 'pass mark' has been set very high for these gardens, so any visitor should be in no doubt of its quality. The garden was critically evaluated by the New Zealand Gardens Trust on a range of factors including: landscape and design, plant material and use, maintenance, safety and overall impression.

Glenfalloch Garden is definitely a four season garden with each season bringing its own special array of colours and fragrances.

The Glenfalloch Chalet is open every Sunday for a delicious buffet lunch from 12pm onwards. Come out and enjoy our wonderful, tranquil setting, great food and cosy fire.
