GymbaRoo Wellington

Each session starts with the children spending a few minutes on our specialised, purpose-built GymbaROO equipment and then a session of about 15 minutes of directed activity in the teaching area with our class leader, Malcolm Aitken. This is followed by 15 minutes on the equipment. Malcolm makes recommendations about activities children undertake while on the circuit and is available for any questions. The children and adults then return to the teaching area for more fun activities.

Parents/carers are asked to bring along an item to put in the treasure bag. The objects for the treasure bag relate to the theme for the week. Each term has a theme ̶ these include such themes as Food, Transport and Animals of the World to name a few. Each week we explore a different topic within the theme. This could be spaghetti or fruit salad in the Food theme or buses and helicopters within the Transport theme.
