Eastwoodhill Arboretum, the National Arboretum of New Zealand, encompasses 135 hectares of exotic and native tree, shrub and climber plantings.
Eastwoodhill Arboretum, situated in the scenic beauty of the East Coast, offers over 20km of graded and marked walking tracks set amongst 4,000 different trees, shrubs and climbs – from the majestic oaks of North America and Europe to the prehistoric trees of Gondwanaland.
The Douglas Cook Centre offers a wonderful location for corporate or group functions and may be hired for seminars, conferences, retreats and team building and other functions.
Visitor services include walking trails for all levels of fitness, a Nationally Significant Homestead Garden, accommodation, tours for groups big and small, function venue and catering.
