Kapiti Bowling Club

The Kapiti Bowling Club was founded over 60 years ago with two grass greens. Today the Bowling Club has two synthetic bowling greens and a large pavilion. The green nearest the Club rooms has very recently been refurbished and a new Tiger Turf carpet laid. The new carpet has been well received by members and visitors alike and many congratulatory comments have been made by experienced players.

In recognition of the excellent work and support provided by our Patrons, Noeline and Bob Barlow, this green has been named the “Barlow” green.

The Club is located at the northern end of the Marine Gardens and there is plenty of parking available. To locate the Club click on this map location link.

The club has a very full summer bowling programme including participation in Interclub and Pennants fixtures. There is a winter triples competition.

Every Wednesday and Saturday afternoons throughout the summer season there are “roll ups” with the dress being mufti. In winter rollups are are on Sundays

The club endeavours to get full club participation in the various mixed events during the season.

Within close proximity to the bowling green is the Shopping Village and accommodation is available directly across the road at the Raumati Sands Resort. The Bowling Club is within easy walking distance of Raumati Beach and the Raumati Pools.
