Katikati Haiku Pathway
Website
Suitable for Ages
A riverside walk featuring 30 boulders engraved with haiku. It is the largest collection of "haiku stones" in English in the world
The haiku, some written by New Zealanders, others by poets from Australia, the US, Canada, Japan, Poland and the UK, were carefully selected by Katikati poet Cath Mair to harmonise with the immediate environment.
The Pathway is in the centre of Katikati with entries off the Main St beside Mitre 10, behind the Information Centre, and opposite Twickenham Cafe.
