Kauaeranga Visitor Centre

The Kauaeranga Valley Centre is close to Thames yet in a secluded bush setting. It is 13kms from Thames at the beginning of the Kauaeranga Valley, Coromandel Forest Park and Northern Coromandel region.

If you are looking for a place to hold a conference or meeting of sorts, an information or demonstration evening, a work do or a team building experience. The centre has a lot on offer.
There is a conference room for hire, that has the maximum capacity of 80 persons, with many facilities at your disposal, from a fully operational overhead projector and screen for power point presentations or documentary/movie screenings, a sound system, there is also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth speaker, two whiteboards- 1 electronic, 1 non and extension leads. There are further details if you need.. An abundance of a level grass area that can be used for many different activities/galas. There is also accommodation; in way of cabins with full facilities of kitchen and amenities or one of our 9 camp sites.

It’s suitable for a function of any kind with the picturesque backdrop of our stunning native forest.

We also have the luxury of a seasonal café that serves sweet and savoury delights, Supreme coffee, ice cream and cold drinks. That also offer catering outside of their normal working hours all year round.
