41 Canada Street, Morrinsville, Morrinsville
This is an exciting time for us and we are all hard at work with the development of our new museum. To read more about the exciting new facility and to contribute your own ideas, stories, items or information go to our website (see link below).
Meanwhile, the current Morrin Museum is open for visits and we are still able to have half of our current building dedicated to displays of objects that illustrate the early days of both Morrinsville and early life in New Zealand in general.
Features of the current museum include displays of Maori tools, Sheep shearing equipment, childhood toys and Dairy company history. The museum archives hold an extensive collection of early Morrinsville photographs which are available for purchase and documents which are available for viewing on request.
Admission is by donation. Opening hours are: Tuesday - Friday 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm, First Saturday of the month 9am - 2pm
