Friends of the Library
Rotorua Library is very fortunate to have had the unwavering support of an active Friends of the Library group, hard-working volunteers whose aims are:
To promote and support the library
To facilitate its use and enjoyment by the public
To help to acquire additional resources and services for the library
To lobby on behalf of the library
To encourage involvement of the community in the activities, needs and progress of the library
The Friends of the Library sell second-hand, donated and ex-library books at regular Saturday morning sales at Kuirau Park.
