Take a scheduled cruise aboard the Paddle Steamer Waimarie, New Zealand's last coal fired, steam powered riverboat, established 1900 - a piece of living history
The Waimarie offers leisurely cruises on the beautiful Whanganui River. On board you will find comfortable saloons, covered and open sun decks, refreshments and a licensed bar, commentary, and the working steam engine on view.
'Cruising at 11' on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (boarding from 10:40am and sailing at 11.00am for a 2-hour cruise) - until 31st March 2017.
Plus 'Cruising on Friday' (1 hour 'Happy Hour' Cruise boarding at 5:10pm and sailing at 5.30 every Friday) - until 31st March 2017.
The vessel is also available for charter, dinner, lunch and BBQ cruises by arrangement.
