Patumahoe Tennis Club

Patumahoe Tennis Club hosts a range of tennis activity during the Summer season, including night tennis. The Club has 5 astrograss floodlit courts and a quaint redecorated clubhouse. At the beginning of the summer season, the Club subsidises coaching for Beginner players and junior members. Interclub teams are entered into the Counties Tennis competition and range from Grade 1 (top grade players) to Grade 7 (first year of tennis) – the Counties Tennis website has full information re interclub draws, championship competitions and teams in the Auckland Tennis competition - http://www.countiestennis.co.nz/ Patumahoe Tennis Club is one of the most successful clubs in Counties with the Grade 1 team winning several titles alongside junior grade titles. Night Tennis (teams consist of two men, two women) is held on Monday and Tuesday nights 7-9pm for 8 weeks pre Christmas and again through February-March. Night tennis is a social night where new and experienced players enjoy handicap-scoring games of tennis. Grade 7 (first year) interclub is played at Counties Tennis West Street Pukekohe during the summer season on Friday afternoons. Grade 1 Interclub play at clubs with floodlit courts on Friday evenings. All other interclub teams play on Saturdays (9-11am or 12.30 – 2pm approximate times). Tennis meetings are held monthly during the season (September-March inclusive).
