Port Hills Polo Club

We are situated in Gilmours Road, Tai Tapu – and we usually have signs out to show you the way. If not, follow the dust clouds down the dirt roads and listen out for the thundering of horses hooves and the holler of supporters!

The club is set in private grounds with a wonderful surround of trees in the lush village of Tai Tapu, a short 20 minute drive from Christchurch.

We host the largest polo tournament in the South Island, the prestigious Ronald McDonald House ‘Day at the Polo’ which offers the public a terrific opportunity to witness spectacular quality polo, close up!
