Riverside Park
Website
When the Taradale Borough amalgamated with Napier City, this was an undeveloped area of land lying between the Tutaekuri River stopbank and the Riverside Motor Camp. It was developed as a passive recreation and picnic area in 1974-75.
The easy road access makes this an ideal picnic ground and starting point for a walk or cycle along the adjacent riverbank, which is included in the Rotary Pathway network extending throughout the city.
The Pettigrew Green Arena, built in 2000, is the home of Sport Hawke's Bay.
There is a toilet block and children's playground located in the 4.25ha park.
