Sounds Reflection Ltd opened their shop "The Sea Chest" in December 2009,a treasure trove of exclusive and exquisite gifts.
It features some of Marlborough Nelsons finest arts and crafts such as Isolation Merino Baby Wear, Hoglund Art Glass, Niki Marshalls wood turning of precious native timbers and Tai Tane Pottery. It shows some of the beautiful Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds images on canvas by well known artists Geoff Heath and Summer Jamieson who lived in the Sounds for many years.
Photography, ceramics and stories by local Sounds authors Joy Cowley, Helen Godsiff and more. Kiwiana allows tourists the chance to buy genuine NZ and locally made unique gifts.
A wide range of other gifts and crafts are stocked for all occasions including locally made jewellery, Cruella alpaca wraps and mantas, fashion accessories, fine china, crystal , clocks, lamps, nautical items, mens gifts, home and garden decor.
