The St Clair Golf Club is nestled on the cliffs above Dunedin's beautiful St Clair Beach. The course offers spectacular views of the city and the rugged southern coastline.
Established in 1905, the St Clair Golf Club has been providing top quality facilities and events to golfers. St Clair hosted its first national event in 1967 (the Freyberg Rosebowl Championship). Then, for nine years from 1970, St. Clair hosted the Otago Charity Classic. Since then there have been 10 national and international events contested at St. Clair, including the 1979 New Zealand Open.
