STUDIO TORU is home to the workshop for Jewellery by Philothea.
Situated in harbourside Eastbourne village in Te Whanganui-a -Tara (Wellington) STUDIO TORU is a workshop, studio and gallery.
Having outgrown her home jewellery studio, Philothea relocated her workshop to 3 Oroua Street, Eastbourne, with the dream of creating a beautiful space to work in and promote her jewellery, alongside the work of other creative like-minded people. This dream is large and constantly evolving.
Currently, STUDIO TORU presents work by jewellers Philothea Flynn, Fiona Christeller, Francis Kirkham, Sue Shore, Kiri Saul, Celia Murphy, Mary Wall, Bridget Donnelly and Zita Westpel-Rose. We also have ceramic and textiles by Kirsty Morison and Melanie Drewery and steel sculptures by Odelle Morshuis.
Our gallery space is about to welcome a solo show by Sarah Albisser which will run throughout November. This will be followed by a Summer Show that will take us through the months of December and January. For more details please follow us on Instagram @studiotoru3.
