Te Puna Memorial Hall

Amenities
Suitable for Ages
This lovely new Hall replaces the one built in 1922 but preserves the specially-purposed sprung wooden floor that is especially suitable for dancing. In addition, it has a larger stage and backstage area, a fine modern kitchen and supper room, and two carpeted meeting rooms, both with facilities for serving refreshments. The acoustic is excellent and there is plenty of parking.
The hall auditorium can accommodate just over 200 audience, seated, and there are enough chairs on site to allow for this. Twelve 1800 x 900 tables are also available. The kitchen has a modest complement of cutlery, crockery and glassware - for large events it is advisable to hire these - and it also has a commercial dishwasher, a large chiller, a blast oven, a microwave and pie warmer, and several sinks. There is no inbuilt sound system, but the stage is wired with connections to sound desk outlets at the rear of the Hall.
The Te Puna Memorial Hall is run by a committee of locals and the booking officer is Faye Hick.
