Terrace Hill Gardens

These gardens will be opening to the public for the first time on the weekend of 30/31st October 2010, and then by appointment for the remainder of the season (Easter 2011).

Located only 5 mins off SH 1, on Terrace Road, Mangaweka - but offering total tranquility and a commanding view of the Ruahine Ranges. Dot & Jeff Bosher's country garden "Terrace Hill Gardens" is described as a garden for all seasons. Dot's passion for plants and love of colour is obvious as you meander your way along the paths throughout the grounds.

Roses, lavenders, hydrangeas, hostas feature below the many maples, magnolias, prunus and birches, alongside cherised perennials, annuals & wildflowers. Rhododendrons and camellias are also numerous.

A pond area also features many bog plants, irises and flaxes.
