The Good Home

The Good Home concept is based on the Dutch word "Hygee" which roughly translates to cosiness.

We have taken the Hygee principle and integrated this into our interpretation of cosiness in a contemporary New Zealand Pub.

The concept design brings the Hygee principle to life through the link of the "house" and environment which is familiar to everyone. The design within the house transitions from the traditional elements of an old villa through to the contemporary features of a modern home. The size of the outlet will dictate the extent to which these features are exhibited.
The guiding philosophy behind this concept is to create a "home away from home" a place where the consumer can visit and enjoy the occasion whether it is to dine, drink or be entertained with family and friends.

The Good Home highlights the consumers' needs for a local pub that delivers good service, great food and beverages in a comfortable relaxed environment.
