The Hamilton Wine Company has been part of the Hamilton and greater Waikato community for over 20 years. It all began when Nick and Pauline Yeoman purchased the Alma Street Cellars (where the Novotel Hotel now stands) in 1991. They started with a mere 100 bottles, a small fridge, and a passion for good wine. Previous experience in Hadleigh’s Wine Store in Newmarket gave them both a keen eye for new and interesting wines and combined with a good business strategy, the company flourished.
