The Post House

The Post House is a stylish gastro pub in the heart of Ellerslie. Located in an old post office built in the early 1900's it sits on the main street of Ellerslie. It takes you minutes to get here from town, just off the Tacoma St off ramp.

The food we serve is fresh and prepared on the day, long gone are the deep fried spring rolls of old! The Menu has an Italian influence taken from Head Chef Luca Villari's home land. We specialize in Pizzas and Pastas but it's not limited to that, you can still get good old fashioned kiwi food, like Fish 'n Chips, burgers and lots more.

We have a large beer garden so all you smokers can relax, you can still puff away when you share a jug of your favourite Macs beer with your mates. We have big screen TVs so all the big games are covered but you won't feel like you are in an old sports bar.

Our restaurant comfortably seats 120 people so even if you are a large group we can take your booking. We are available for private functions and we don't even charge you a fee, just show up and we will do the rest.
