Experience the new look Victoria Park Village home of the original Victoria Park Markets
Located within close walking distance of the central city, the Sky Tower, Wynyard Quarter, The Fish Market and Ponsonby, the Victoria Park Village has space for more than 40 shops, cafes and restaurants set in a cluster of historic buildings, making it a great place to get together with friends and family or to spend some quality time on your own.

Victoria Park Village offers an ever-changing selection of New Zealand’s arts and crafts, souvenirs, fashion, gifts and sportswear as well as some of the best food Auckland has to offer.
All set under the big brick chimney, in one of the city’s most iconic historic sites. Victoria Park Village has been earthquake proofed and has gone through a major $22M refurbishment, with canopies all through the Village it is a great 7 day all weather destination. So, come and spend an hour or two and experience the new look Victoria Park Village. The new place to eat, shop and meet.

At Weekends the Village plays host to "The Pop Up Market Stalls" that are located around the Village and opening later in 2017 we have The Food Truck Market and a Farmers Market planned - this is all in addition to the great range available 7 days

Every day is different at Victoria Park Village.

... while you are walking around the category 1 historically protected Village with your coffee in hand you will see a cliff that the Village backs onto, this is the original Auckland coastline before the land was reclaimed, today you can still have lunch while sitting under the Pohutakawa trees that would have hung over the sea.
Built between 1890 and 1905 the precinct was used to house the horses that pulled the carts around the City streets to pick up the rubbish from Queen St. and surrounds, the horses would return to the precinct and the rubbish was burned in the large brick chimney you see today - this generated enough electricity to run the street lamps back on Queen Street.
The original ramp that took the horses up to the 2 storey stables is now the Celebrity Walk and you can see a number of famous New Zealanders have left their hand, foot or hoof prints on The Walk
This is one of the oldest - if not the oldest - remaining buildings and precincts in its almost original condition left remaining in Auckland City - so while attending one of the many events at Victoria Park Village take time to have a look and immerse yourself in a piece of Heritage Auckland
