This community centre is available for dance, educational, and art and craft activities. The large hall also has large mirrors and ballet rails that are suitable for dance classes.
The centre is set in small grounds on Waimairi Road. Avonhead Play Centre operates from here four days per week (not Wednesday) from 8:30am to midday during the school term. On Wednesdays, Avonhead Playgroup use the centre from 8:30am to midday during the school term.
The centre has a large hall, a small hall and a kitchen. The play-ground at the rear of the centre is owned and operated by Avonhead Play centre and is not for use by hire groups.
