Wings Over Whales

Taking to the air is the best way to see Kaikoura's whales. In a typical 30 minute flight you will witness a magnificent Sperm Whale preparing for its next dive and pods of up to 500 Dusky Dolphins at play. On occasion you may see South Right, Humpback, Fin, Sei, Brydes, Pilot and even Blue Whales.

During a flight you can also enjoy views of Maori Pa sites, New Zealand Fur Seals at rest, Kaikoura Township, and the spectacular Kaikoura Ranges.

Relax in the terminal with a light meal and a drink after the flight. The upstairs lounge overlooks the sea and mountains, and a gift shop offers you souvenirs to remember your experience.
